Under $200 delivered to my door I honestly wasn't expecting too much. Well I was wrong. This is simply the best vacuum. Sure it's loud and somewhat heavy (just raise the setting to make it not so heavy) but this vacuum really SUCKS. My carpets felt cleaner to walk on and almost changed colour from being this clean! My tiles didn't need to be mopped.

This is now my (almost) one year old grandsons favourite thing and he is in charge of it.

Simply put; if you're wanting a brilliant vacuum this is it.

We have been very happy with our recent purchase! I had been purchasing Dyson for years, but was having issues with clogging and hose/tool connections. We are a busy household with multiple pets, and two children who love to explore the great outdoors...and bring nature in with them.

This vacuum has removed dust and sand from the carpets that our Dyson never could- yes the machine is heavier, but I believe the quality of clean makes up for this for sure.

The attachment tools are great for cleaning the furniture and in the small rails for our patio doors and windows.

We had a Dyson Upright vacuum but the head on it died twice within 3 years. So I gambled on this vacuum and it's a powerful beast. The vacuum is loud, but it does what it says and does a great clean on carpets and cleaning up pet hair. We have two cats (both short haired) but they hate being brushed so this is definitely a life safer with all their hair around.

The easiness of vacuuming with such a lightweight machine. Due to back problems and pain from bending and pulling my previous machine, this one is a dream to move around.

One area I am not sure about is the retractable cord, it continuously runs back in while using, also the last meter feels very hot. Should this be? We do not have a heavy carpet, but it appears to growl a bit when I have the suggested height set. So, at the moment I have it turned right up to the last height. Any corners or edge of mats it wants to grab them. I guess it's all about getting used to the difference. I haven't used any of the other attachments until I get confident with the basic machine. I could not believe how much dirt and fluff I emptied after my first run around. So that was excellent. Otherwise I am very happy, and the delivery was very fast, thank you, V.A.T.
