Returns & Refunds
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
BISSELL New Zealand does not commonly provide refunds due to a change of mind but may consider this upon application.

Change of Mind Returns
If a change-of-mind return is approved, all returns must comply with the following:
- have proof of purchase (receipt, credit statement or invoice);
- the products are returned in their original packaging with all labels and instruction manuals included, unused and undamaged;
- the product you are returning is currently ranged by us;
- you return the product within 14 working days after receiving your purchase from us; and
- you bear all costs, such as shipping and insurance, related to the return of the product to us.
Refunds
You will receive a full refund of the price of the goods (excluding the costs of delivering the goods to you and the costs of returning the goods to us) within 30 business days of receipt of the product by BISSELL New Zealand.
The refund will be for the purchase price as stated on the purchase receipt. Refunds exclude any other costs or expenses, including incidental or consequential damages and postage/shipping costs for return of the product.
Refunds will be issued in the same form of tender as the original purchase transaction. It is the customer’s responsibility to retain and produce proof of purchase.

Machines
Machines are serviced in New Zealand by our authorised service partner. Returns of machines under warranty are at the customer’s cost (including shipping and insurance).

Faulty Goods
BISSELL is committed to ensuring that all products are of the highest standard. Our products have either a one or two year limited warranty from the date of delivery. Warranty length will differ between models; please refer to the product listing on our website or your User Manual for warranty information.
If you experience a problem within this warranty period, please contact BISSELL Customer Service on 0800 BISSELL (247 735), Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 4.30pm (AEDT time). Our customer service team will walk you through troubleshooting steps.
If your problem cannot be solved over the telephone, our team will explain how to send your machine to our authorised service partner, at your own cost, for assessment. Once received, it will be tested and the fault or problem identified. If a manufacturing fault is confirmed within the warranty period, our service technicians will repair your product or provide an appropriate remedy in line with your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
